I have the HOTAS all set up, but not feeling any force feedback whatsoever....I am doing a schoolboy somewhere? Is there a magic setting/tickbox to get the feedback initiated?

All I have is the centre spring working against me....the force effects work ok in the controller setup but I just have nothing in the game....can anyone with a G940 give me a steer?

Thanks in advance.

Open this file

X:\DCS - Black Shark\Config\producer.cfg

And change
ForceFeedbackEnabled = false;
to
ForceFeedbackEnabled = true;

That should do the trick.

Hi,

Dunno about the G940, but there is only a centering spring in the MSFFB stick I have.

The spring centre changes as you adjust the trim. There's no aerodynamic effects such as you get with IL2, though.

BTW How much and where for the G940?

Cheers!

Cheapest I have seen it in the UK was £228.Not sure about P+P though. I was using a price comparison site (not Kelkoo) and now I can't find it again.

I got it for £228 delivered from dabs.com.

The free delivery took 2 days to arrive which was pretty good.

Pressing the trim buton should make a new centre where your holding the stick, it works very well with my MSFF2, this is apparently how it works in the real heli.

Works great so long as you don't want to use the wheels or the mini-stick. Roll requires a slight negative curve to hold trim at high speed. Pitch needs a slightly positive curve for the same reason.

As for the wheel and the mini-stick, Logitech is either going to have to redesign the stick or do some very impressive programming.

For Christmas I will be getting this gift, so far I am very excited. Let me know if there is any bugs before Christmas smile.
