just installed arma2 how do i get track ir 4 working with it ?

To use TrackIR with ArmA 2 do the following:

1. Make sure that you have ArmA 2 listed on your games list, with the TrackIR software:

TrackIR 4 software – Update -> Check for games update -> Restart software

TrackIR 5 software – TrackIR button -> Check for games update -> Restart software

2. Start ArmA 2
3. Under Options -> Controls -> Controller, and make sure the TrackIR is enabled
4. Enjoy TrackIR support

thanks for this thread, I bought Arma2 a few weeks ago and have been gradually learning my way around it. This thread prompted me to give TrackIr4 a try in the game and it really adds a lot. I still get messed up running if I turn body facing with the mouse while looking from side to side. I have to walk to get the aiming cursor back and reorient, but already getting better at that.
