I have just ventured into Hardcore for the first time. I really like the lack of HUD, but some checkpoints would be nice.

I don't know about anyone else but I would like to be able to have a custom difficulty level - one that maybe tells me which ammo I've got loaded in my M-203 and when I'm bleeding, but gets rid of all the rest, but at the same time has some checkpoints.

That sort of thing.

I don't suppose anyone has a workaround?

Yeah, the lack of checkpoints in Hardcore had me restarting the campaign in Experienced as it was driving me mad. We'll have to see what the patch brings us, which I have heard rumours of it maybe out next week...
