Ok, intersting question.

At the moment not so many, if to speak about major third party MS FS add-ons publishers, but not developers... - they were all interested even when MS FS team was alive.
Also the guys that are modders now will have the ability to show what they may do when it isn't neccessary to hack

I do think there will be many in time... and of course the team that did 4.09 is in my first sight - they will get everything the first from us probably (then they will forget about Il-2 support I think).

Even the guy that I not so long time rejected from a team... I had a speech couple of days ago with him... and he is also would like to make. He is very talent guy, but not organized and can't work in a team. For him would be good to be working alone. And I think if will really go for this - you all will get increadible quality things... but slow born
End Oleg quote.

He is at it again, this in the last friday topic here: http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=10702&page=53

Oleg starts down the page a bit and continues into the next.

He says he will discuss more of todays news in a seperate topic later.

Tree, where are you?

2009-10-30 Development update.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi folks,

The next part of WIP shots for your evaluation.

Please discuss only here:
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=10809

Its a time to show our British pilots. Not in engine, but in final look (maybe tweaking of
colors we will need for the engine)

EDIT: Links were dead, maybe from the 1c site.
Rest seem OK.

It was a question of many users. Yes, at night we have ability to look for the lights on the ground... And I think it will be probably possible to set the amount of lights in different regions of map for the right “night time” gameplay.
You also may see on the shot the other very nice feature... and it is customizable by user...

http://files.games.1c.ru/il2pict/windowslights0007.jpg

Bf-109E-3 in the engine. Currently propeller stops in pause.

What is possible to learn from these pictures:
1. We use real physics light-colors engine for calculations of changes during the whole day-night
2. Options on the left panel probably will be partially accessible for end user that to make superb screen shots.

How is looking at the moment rotating propeller at low RPM. The pitch changes are also visible during rotation.

And some shots from tools without complex lighting (not all engine features went in the viewer tool at the moment. It’s a part of color tunings we are working for)
You may notice many nice details... these models, optimized for the
massive objects/gameplay in the future of the sim series...

Pretty good update. I'm happy!

The lights in the house windows could be dimmed a little.

Stuka looks awesome.

BF109 Looks awesome.

And the other vehicles look incredible...

Can't wait for next friday, now its time to go over to the 1C forums and watch him answer questions. =P

Awesome pics!

Were there only 3 images this week? If not could someone provide the link to the thread with them all please? I'm at work, and it would really help.

Thanks for posting what you did.
