i bought it some time ago. it is a different game - the horror is more silent hill 2-ish than doom3. the violence is not graphic, it's all implied and the interpretation of what really happened is left for your imagination.
i'd rather not go into any details for fear of spoiling the game for you. try the demo. buy the full version if you're intrigued. $10 is not that much, after all.
