This is probably going to be very newb of me but where in the game are the time trials, drag races, etc.? I have searched and searched but can't seem to find them anywhere. I feel really stupid because I know this is going to be an easy answer but I'm tired of looking for them.

where it says... FM3, Free Play, marketplace... pick free play... then quick race.... but I think the 2 drag tracks are in one of the download packs, because on my main 360, but not on my secondary, since codes couldn't be re-entered.

Thanks Magnum.
I had seen those options and only tried free play. I figured quick race was just a standard race and didn't realize that it would actually give you options. Kind of defeats the purpose of a quick race option though doesn't it?

The drag racing tracks are on Sedona Speedway. I am not sure if they came from the second disc or not.

Actually i think the 2 drag strips (which are a redicoulos joke IMO, 8 tracks side by side, lol) are in one of the download code packs... because I downloaded my 2 packs to my main 360... but codes wouldn't work again for my 2nd 360... which sucks because now i can play, capture screens, or videos because thats all done on my 2nd 360.

DLC is attached to your console and your gamertag. To get your dlc on your 2nd 360, recover your gamertag there and use your download history.
Only caveat is it will only work when logged in to live on that machine.

There are 3 drag strips at Sedona if you scroll all the way to the right, a 1/4 mile, a 1/2 mile and a full mile. I just raced on one of them. There might be other drag strips on another track that I haven't seen that are downloadable, but I only have the 2 discs since the game is a rental from Gamefly.
edit: there are 4 strips, I missed the 1/8 mile strip.

I'd be surprised if I ever use the drag strips. I really have no interest.

Actually I just dicovered a better place for drag racing, time trials, etc. When you are on the main options screen where it lists to "Go Race", there is a "Leaderboard" option near the bottom of the menu list. Go into the "Leaderboards" option and there you can race all kinds of races: time trials, drag races, drifting, etc. vs. real people marks. It automatically chooses the car so everyone is on a level playing field. This way you don't have to search for which tracks allow drag racing because the are all grouped together under one choice. And we can all compare how we do against each other because we can list Friends scores and times even though we're not actually competing head to head. Its actually pretty cool.
Why in the world they hid these options under a leaderboards heading is beyond me. I actually went to the FM3 forums to discover this. Very poor planning IMO in an otherwise great job of presentation.

I tried doing the dragstrip just to see if I could top 200mph for the achievement. Kept topping out at 199 in different cars though. I want to check out the drifting though, I might give that a shot in a little bit.

The 200mph achievement is a piece of cake: Just go in to quick race mode, or whatever the non-career mode is, I forget. Take the Bugatti veron to the original Le mans track, it's got a huge long straight. Put the power on and you'll get past 200mph easy.

Here is what I ended up doing and it also ended up being pretty easy: I took one of the Ferrari race cars to the Twin Ring Motegi Super Speedway and just did a couple of laps. I think on the second lap or so I topped 200mph
