The same could NOT be said of U.S. and allied forces who go and fight on our behalf against many forms of evil that seek to devour whom it can. Something is very wrong in your thinking by you placing them in the same category of this in-game terrorist who's goal it is to run around an airport intentionally murdering civilians and to terrorize. Shame on you for such a careless comment. I don't think you really meant that.
And people keep bringing up GTA. Therein is the point. There shouldn't be games like GTA where many forms of depravity can be acted out by the player. And that series has only become more and more rotten over the years, allowing you to do just a little bit more and to go just a little bit farther in the next iterations. At one time I had a couple of those and had to get rid of them. They're poison the whole lot of them. They are unhealthy games not just for your brain but also your spirit. I'm sure I've got some other games that I should think about removing from my ownership.
But games are like any other form of media such as books and movies. There's good ones and garbage ones and its up to you what you end up choosing to entertain.
That being said I for one am disappointed as I was also looking forward to MW2. I was really looking forward to seeing what kind of special forces and spec opts missions that they are making for the player to enjoy. But I don't think that I can get this one now because of the newly revealed level, its content and the way its carried out in a player controlled way.
