Hello,

I have noticed that since I installed win 7, the wound is very low. I have gone through the control panel several times but, can't get it back to where it was with XP. I am using the driver that either shiped with Win7 or were updated during the install.

I noticed that the control panel does not allow you to specify what type of speakers you are using. In XP, you could tell it you are using headphones but Win 7 just seems to be concerned with surround sound setups. I think that might be my problem. Anyone else run into this?

There is a driver pack I saw somewhere for the Audigy and Win 7. If I find it, I'll post a link. I am using the onboard sound on my mobo which is the same as yours. And mine is overclocked to within an inch of it's life so that may be why I had some issues with my Audigy.

They have the link well buried. There is a separate listing for each flavor of Audigy 2 model. This is for the base card, but has reference to others in the series.
