I have been playing in a Philippines map for Il2 lately and wonder If someone know a good site with info about Philippines 1944-45 air campaign. I'm refering to the campaign over the islands not the carrier battles or carriers against the IJN, but more about the pre-invasion ( carrier based against the islands ), invasion and then once the US army have a good place to start the air campaign from land based planes.
Anyone??

Good question Stratos,

I can 't think of any land bases/Carrier strikes off the top of my head but will look into it ASAP. Could be very long winded if I have to send you a narrative so might be best if you send me a PM with your e-mail address.

I'm having a problem discovering how the Composite squadrons of the CVE's worked. Anyone have an idea of what planes they had??
