Great screens Magnum!
They really nailed the feel, this game had me grinning last night. The cockpit view just feels right, and the force feedback seems to be dialed in very well.
The tracks are beautiful, much improved over FM2. Maple Valley is gorgeous. I think if someone thinks the game is lacking graphically, they've yet to see it on a calibrated, worthy HD set of decent size. At 720p DLP projection 96" screen from 12', the game looks absolutely awesome.
After a handful of hours:
Driver Level 7 all settings maxed except no clutch and medium AI, using FF wheel
Not seen all the track environments yet
2.3% through the career
have used all stock tunes!
I haven't even tried tuning yet - the stock cars are much more realistic and drivable.
bought some vinyl groups
bought some cars off auction
bought some full designs, one terrific racing livery for 10k!
put up a car for auction
played with the paint editor
watched replay videos/checked out photos
have run a few private races with a friend
made about 350k credits
and I feel like I haven't scratched the surface yet. I enjoy every aspect of it. I don't know whether to race or buy/sell or paint. I keep switching back and forth, and still have yet to tune anything. I also need to put the DLC in and check that out. I have 3 different DLC cards (for 10-20+ cars?), plus T10 is sending some add'l ones for pre-ordering.
I intentionally didn't watch/read a lot or hype up for this game, and I feel like a kid at Christmas. Hope it doesn't wear off soon.

I'd also like to throw another vote for not crapping up this thread with vapor-games. When the title finally comes out, it should warrant its own thread(s) and obvious comparisons of actual playable (solid framerate) code.
