That guy usually does quality videos. Check out his others as well.

And the L-39 isn't my cup of tea at all, but I would kill to get to know the secrets behind those landing lights...

The L-39 Albatros is absolutely superb. Highly detailed, fluid, easy on the framerate and hugely immersive. Easily makes my shortlist of the best add-ons ever made for the FS series.

Yes, it's definitely the best vid I've seen too. I wonder if it's made with FS Recorder and AI, or multi.

The Aircraft would be a must buy for FSX, only error I see is the Czech "Alca" paintsheme applied to a standard L-39 double seater.

Cool video. That L-39 is cool. As for the best ever FS video made..it has to be "Duelity" a heavily edited FS2004 video of an F-15 vs. Su-27.. An oldie but a goody..professional grade editing:

Nice, I liked the ending. The L-39 is on my must get list as well.

Hehe, me too. I'd love to add lights like that to my Orlik. At least I know how he did specular on the canopy glass...

And the snow on the wings and canopy icing is just an overlay texture, right?

I believe it's a copied wing's leading edge geometry with small offset textured with snow and partially transparent. Something like decal object. It's very easy to make <Visibility> tag based on certain variable. I think I'll make custom icing for Orlik. It should be easy to check outside temperature, precipitation, check AMBIENT IN CLOUD variable, etc.
