In case someone has not seen this before, Warship Combat: Navies At War has now been released:
NWS Forums: WCNAW I tried the previous incarnation's demo, and did not particularly like the abstract range bands. This looks a marked improvement with the minimap.
If I could get "Jutland" eye candy with the coverage and lack of DRM of this system, I'd be in heaven. The Jutland graphics make the majesty of the big battleships a lot more apparent and immersive.
Gripes on purty pictures aside, this looks a very interesting and ambitious game from a very small team.
When SAS WWI comes out, and this game gets linked to it, this will become a "must buy" for me.
