Can't made a new install of IL-2 1946. I have an install of the game all updated with the Unified Installer all patched up and with the IL2Version Switcher so I can play online with 4.08 or with the beta 4.09.

I want an install of the game with the official 4.09m and so I put my disc in to make a clean install. The window comes up but the option to install is blacked out. I even renamed the folder and the exe in that folder of my current install and still no luck making a fresh install. Same issue comes up.

Any ideas?

After you renamed your 1,2 version you can run the disk and uninstall IL-2 1946. It won't remove your renamed version. example Mod Il-2 Sturmovik

After you uninstalled then the option to "install" will be there.
