I tried to run without compatability, and it runs. ..odd

try this (it worked for me):
1. install lock on ;
2. run it;
3. install FC;
4. run it (you will get a message error about starforce drivers);
5. update the starforce drivers;
6. install the patch 1.12b;
7. run the game.

i have the gold edition
