Gentlemen I rarely post here,more of a lurker but I have a problem.I'm running the game updated to the latest 409 update.Had this problem before with 408.

My problem is that when I start the game I can't use the Esc key to stop the movie or to go back to the start menu while I'm flying or when I'm at the start menu to return to the desktop.In other words when I start flying I can't quit.

I have to either minimize the game and shut it down or restart the computer at which time it may restart or it gets to a point and hang causing me to have to hold the power off button in and turn the computer off manually.

I'm running an Ati dual core processor @ 2.3,Ati 3870 graphic card with 512 meg of memory,2 gig memory onboard,onboard sound with a 23" Acer monitor.

This game use to work great on this computer.Any help greatly appreciated.I really want to play this game again.

Check your config.ini for
[HotKey gui]
Escape=activate
it has to be as shown to work.

Here is a copy of my config.ini it doesn't have the [HotKey gui] in there or anything showing Escape=activate.Should I add these line to the config.ini?

Flying,I added the lines you suggested and it solved my Esc key problem,thanks man.

Now I have another question could my desktop being in one resolution and the game being in another cause my problem of the game rebooting my computer when I close the game?My current desktop res is 1680x1050 while the game is at 1050x780 or something like that.

Can I change the res in the config.ini to match my desktop and make it work?Thanks again for the help Flying.
