I just went through most of the Korea 2005 campaign, and it was only interesting for 2 days. By the middle of the second day, the enemy only has bombers and next to no air force whatsoever. Their initiative is pretty much gone. I flew a few BARCAP missions only to find nothing. So now all I can do is set the time to 64x and wait for the A.I. flights to take care of the rest.

Is there a way to make a campaign not so one-sided?

Did you crank everything to 'Ace' difficulty?

Within each theater (ie Korea 2005), the third campaign (should be 'iron fortress' in korea if I recall) on Ace should provide pretty challenging. You're backed up against the wall and hugely outnumbered.

Have China and Russia entered the war for the Red side yet? Once they hop in the fight, usually around day 4 or 5, it is a whole different ball game if you can't keep them at bay. Lots of squadrons of Su-27SMs and Mig-29SMs enter the fight, more SAMS, and more tanks.


Also, when you are starting a new campaign, you can change the difficulty setting from Rookie, which is the default, to Ace, which gives the Red side a significant advantage in numbers, as well as skill.

I guess I didn't see the ace setting; Thank you for pointing that out:) I didn't know China and Russia can enter the war! This will get good:)
