Playing around in the modded Philippines map lately and wonder If someone know a good site with info about Philippines 1944-45 air campaign. I'm refering to the campaign over the islands not the carrier battles or carriers against the IJN, but more about the pre-invasion ( carrier based against the islands ), invasion and then once the US army have a good place to start the air campaign from land based planes.

Look for the book or any excerpts from it by General Kenney who was in command of the V Airforce. I have one of his books on Dick Bong and in it he mentions his memoirs.

There are several mission in my America's Ace of Aces campaign that would have been based in the Philippines if the map was available at the time. You have my permission to use anything you want from those missions or any of Bong's missions if you wish.

I am in the process of putting together version 2.0 complete with video tracks, the new P38s and etc. now.
