I have noticed in this forum that the refresh will show someone posting on a new or existing topic, but when I open the forum that isn't there.

Please don't tell me I've gone nuts. My mental stability is so fragile I couldn't take another blow. wave2

It was showing upgrade- install XP-Win7 for a while every time I refreshed or went to another forum and then came back. It would show the post was 11 minutes old. But when I opened the forum it wasn't there. Now My post about this problem shows as the most current post. So that's right now.

Maybe I am going nuts.

OOOps. I now understand. It was in the Win7 migration sub-forum. That was why it didn't show-up here . So I was just sloppy in my looking. Goes to show you that the obvious isn't always obvious if you miss it the first time. duh

I could just delete this post, but some of you may need a laugh. Giving you one at my expense is OK with me.

Thanks Joe. You posted your answer while I was busy trying to find the embarrassed/red faced emoticon. Didn't find it so I used the D'uh.

The thread you reference is in the Windows 7 Migration sub-forum. Sub-forum posts will show as "latest" when you are looking at the main forums page.

Hi oldgrognard,

Go to this page... http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/forums/8/1/Hardware_Software.html

In the lower left is "Display Options". By default the "Show Topics" is set for "active in the last month". Set it to a default of 3 months, or whatever you want to see.

Thanks Guod, but I don't need to. It was a brain fart that was my problem.
