Hey Stormtrooper - nice screenies. These look much like my install/addons, and wondering if you have any ideas on how to get more realistic/better looking water in FSX? I have tried various water mod versions in the package I think you have, and see much the same. Not all that good - and now see Beach's recent X Plane photos with gorgeous water. Are we stuck? Or is there a way to move the water effects closer to how good the planes are rendered?

If you have everything i have then yep you're stuck if you don't like them.

Of all the water textures i prefer the ocean---like the first shot. They do look better in game though compared to screen shots since in game you have a flickering effect.

Agreed. The ocean has a relatively better look. I've hoped for more but maybe that comes in another generation.

Water through the Grand Canyon looks pretty cool

Not a big fan of tropical water though (Miami)
