I have the TB 5.1 surround sound version http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/efx4/home.aspx and it's excellent. Even our Maltese dog can lay in my lap and not be disturbed. wink

I daiseychain optical audio from the Xbox 360 thru its base station and then on to my 5.1 receiver for DVD play (and gameplay when I don't want to use the headset).

The mic pickup is also excellent.

It does tend to go thru batteries but I have rechargeable standing by.
