I've been playing the demo a bit, trying to decode whether I should pick this one up or not. One thing I've noticed is there seems to be asome lag in mouse response. It makes targeting pretty difficult. I'm playing OFP:DR right now, and I don't have this problem, only in Arma2. Anyone else experience this? Is it unique to the demo by chance?

Thanks,
Kodiak80

The demo is quite outdated by now.
Mouse issue has been addressed in v1.04 patch (or earlier). Also beta patches released after that have also added refinements and options to mouse behaviour.

Reducing the 3d resolution helped with mouse lag on the older versions. As Blake said, it is less of a problem in newer 1.04 version.

The problem with Bohemia Interactive demos (as long as I can remember) is that they fix problems and add cool new features in the main version but never update the demo. New guys such as yourself are stuck with a buggy demo version when testing it.

It can turn away quite a few newcomers from an otherwise good product.

Appreciate the responses. I had hoped it was an issue specific to teh demo, and had tried to apply the patches. Of course, as you noted, they don't work with the demo. Good to hear this has been resolved. It seems well worth picking up.
