With all the mods coming at us from several directions I think we are very ready for application that will manage mods quickly and easily, which is completely autonomous. This way no captive Installer paks.

All mods would be independent products that conform to specific guidelines for using the application.

In other words, DL the mod,unzip the mod,copy and paste folder into respective IL2 folder.

Then remove, replace, move, activate, etc. at will.

We need very flexible ability, because we don't need a zillion mods installed that drag down the load time for IL2 to snail pace.

I realize there are talks of mod installer paks doing this, but we really need a tool that is not specific to any installer paks.

The JSGME is pretty good for this, but still too involved with installer paks for the kind of flexibility we need.

I only fly Pacific theatre, use only objects and maps from Pacific. I don't need all the other stuff, until I need it.
