I believe that your work was properly credited in the readme, besides, creators of this pack are in excellent working relations with the rest of mod community - AAA, C6 and Ultrapack creators all helped with the creation of this mod pack....

Sometimes its a real problem to contact various mod creators, it can be a full time job smile - since this pack is primarily the work of 2 people, and as long as the credit is given at appropriate place, I don't believe that they are to be blamed considering the free nature of mods and their initial creation.

I will ask if this is possible, but please bear in mind, this mod pack is created to be CRT=2 compatible as first order of business, customization of each install was never high on the list of its functionalities....

original creator of this mod is a native french speaker - AFAIK there never was an english readme...., just watch your engine temperature until it hits 50+ celsius and you should be fine (basic info is in the readme)

cheers

Well I just added a mod I created for myself which stops the annoying button "CLICK". I put it in the MODS folder and it work perfectly. might nees some more investigating but it looks like we can just drop them in there and away to go.

thanks SD smile
so this means, we basically "delete" the content of current MODS folder together with the /Files folder and should be good to go?

as I was on my way to upgrade to UI1.2 over my existing UI1.1.1. , this might spare me some work and looks just too good to miss, the more so as it is compatible with the 4.09 MOD;

yes, some of the mods included changed internal code of game in various ways, recording and playing tracks works fine if you do it on HSFX v4 version of game though

you can use JSGME mod structure for adding new mods - it will probably be very hard to troubleshoot the problems if you are not very proficient mod user (although you can always unpack sfs files and troubleshoot that way)

be extra careful with this - read the installation instructions carefully - HSFXv4 is best installed over clean 4.09m

ok, well, seems like I will have to jump the gun and install the old girl fresh again and drop missions, skins and other assorted stuff into it from new again;
I just wanted to make sure that any future mods that are released can be installed into the new install then;
looks like I am in for an interesting time when installing this wink

Hello SD!

so just a few quick questions smile
this means you installed this one over 4.09m;
what is your filestructure like now?
do you still have that /files and /mods directory?

I just do not want to do the whole install dance once more, its a little bit too much for me, adding all skins, missions, campaigns, MAT Manager and other stuff once more;
would be easier to just install this one Mod and then create the necessary dirs for additional mods;

thanks in advance

Salute

This is an excellent addition, it is much more functional, load times reduced, better performance, plus huge number of mods in a smaller format, less bloated install.

No, of course I don't mind. But that isn't the point I'm concerned about.

You see, I released my work at AAA and nowhere else. Yet, people do assume that they are automatically granted the right to rerelease it as part of their own mod packs or even worse use it as a base for their own work without asking permission or even giving credit at all.

In 99% of all cases I would have happily given permission, its just the conduct and in my opinion lack of manners that strikes me as being the root for a lot of grief and ill-feeling among members of the community(s).

Certainly many more people are involved than those I have listed. There is a lot of collaboration and cross co-operation
necessary to produce all of this work and it gets a little difficult as so many things are derivative of many others.

If you read this and feel that you should be included, then please communicate.

Zorin, if there are other elements which you should also be credited for, I would suggest you talk to RAF242_Prof, he seems very open and appreciative of the work done by others which he has included in this Mod, and I do not think he intended to slight anyone.
