World champion anvil shooter? Does he have much competition?

Good question. Exactly what is the competition based on?

Anyway, guys love blowing things up and this is pretty much on that basis. Gotta watch that black powder though. Powerful and unpredictable stuff.

You know, Looney Tunes taught me 3 main lessons:

1-There is no way rabbits and road runners taste good enough for the effort it takes to kill them

2-Always take a LEFT at Albuquerque.

3-If you send an anvil up in the air, you can count on it coming down where you least want it to.

As pointless, dangerous and random as it is, there is still something quite cool about literally blowing up anvils.

Very cool..although I don't know that I'd be leaning in that close to the anvil while lighting that fuse. I think I'd rather light it from afar. Black powder is pretty touchy..and if that thing blew while he was leaning into it..well, I think that video would be in the Darwin Award category.

I've flown some burn patients down to Augusta that have messed around with gunpowder in unusual ways...

Cool video though..(incoming!!!)

Why are people spending so much money on NASA and the new rockets. Just need bigger anvils and bigger booms
