The only thing that gets me excited about this is the 10FPS. However, I would prefer to see a full frame sensor, so I won't get REALLY excited until I see an updated 5d or whatever the next great full frame camera is.

Still not sure about the HD movie thing on DSLRs, makes me feel like I am paying extra for something I don't want or need. However I have seen video from a 5d and it looks pretty good.

Yeah, I've got a 1D Mk. III, and am a little relieved that there's not some feature I feel compelled to upgrade to get. smile

16MP would be nice, and the low-light improvements are always welcome, but for what I shoot there's not much here that would get me to switch. I have no interest in video right now, either.

I know that some Mk. IIIs had autofocus issues, but I've never noticed them on my camera that I could tell, so I think I'll keep my $5K for now.

apparently this seems to be pretty much the response from a lot of pro toggers - too dear (give it 6 months & it'll drop by 1/3 imo) & not worth upgrading for.
Plus apparently a lot of pro sport authorities (FIFA etc.) are banning still cameras with a video capability.

btw it's £4,5000 in the UK incl. sales tax - that's $7,500 US eek.
