I got hold of 2.10, BuT no joy !! I'm using XP /sp3 and DX 9.oC. Is 2.10 for DX 10 ??

No, it uses DX9, like all BoBII versions. What is the problem?

I have installed patch 2.10 and it grinds to a halt ??? I forgot to copy the error messsage ;@(
There is an error log somewere ?

Hi Benny, I am not sure of your PC specs or what the error is but ........... Did you see the notes? (Release notes) Note1: this update will bring *any* previous version up to 2.10. You do not need any previous patches at all. Note2: You will need the latest DirectX to run 2.10. [/b]You will get a missing .dll error if you do not. When you run the 2.10 self-installer it will point you to the Microsoft DirectX update page. Update to DirectX9.0c (June version). Unfortunately, there are multiple versions of 9.0c so if in any doubt, update.
Note3: The MultiSkin patch should go ON TOP OF Battle of Britain 2: Wings of Victory v2.10 Patch (English) OR Battle of Britain 2: Wings of Victory v2.10 Patch (International)You should have a 256M gfx card to be sure to run without issues. Note4: How to back up your existing settings from earlier BoBII updates.

If that doesn't help, copy and paste debuglog.txt into here.
Also, are there any other current files in the BoBII directory? For example crashlog.txt?

Thanks good to hear it was simple. It is too bad you can not see the new High Res landscape on your PC (they do get old so very fast these days).
I guess you have an older PC or Video card.
I recommend you read the performance link I gave you if you are interested in tuning your PC environment for the best BOBII 2.10 performance.
