"To be honest mate I think nearly if not every one of the mod aircraft are included in this so there is no need to add any aircraft, although I could be wrong."

Hmmmm... well, yeah, as of today it has most if not all, but what about next week or next month when someone else releases a new flyable? Very glad to hear that I'd be able to add mods, but I'm concerned about 'future proofing' for new planes, SD. BTW, does HSFX also include the new early P-38 and P-51 variants released in AAA's 1.2 UI?

Cheers!

Dont take my work for it, but the real advantage of this is for improving load times and enforcing crt=2 standards.

New mods and aircraft can be added to the game, and later compressed to fit into the SFS format.
You might not have the newest mods but its sounds simple to add them to future releases.
That isn't to say that you couldn't use the newest mods using the wrapper/MODS formula.

It will really depend on the user, and i think ideally for online players this is a much needed development.

I had a nifty folder set aside with only 20 of the mods in the entire UI pack just so i could have a decent load time for online use. With more servers using CRT=2 and mods, it just seems like the next step in the progression of this game. My load times are not that horrible, but long enough to be annoying if you have an error or can't connect. I also have many mods that need to be turned off so i can meet the crt=2 requirement.

The way i see it, this would take care of both of the problems i'm having attempting to use mods and crt=2.

Thanks to all modders, and the developers of this pack. I hope it does what it is expected to do, which is make this game easier to play and have fun with online.

There are actually several planes not in this pack, but so long as they can be added, it's cool.

Charlie made the decision to leave a few aircraft out; principally those that 'aren't quite right'. The PZL.24, for example, has too many issues to make it usable online in any serious way.

The aim of this mod pack, as in earlier versions, was initially for use in our SEOW campaigns, but all the best mods are worth having for both on- and offline. Encrypting the mods back into .sfs files has been a masterstroke IMO; HSFX 4.0 loads as cleanly and swiftly as a vanilla Il-2.

cheers

Technically it sounded great but after a few hours of fiddling around,
practically AAA UI is better than HSFX for me.
All in all, AAA UI team seems to know what players like me want, while HSFX not.
I see much faster loading time and maybe it is error free but many crucial mods are missing and mod enabler is not more intuitive.
I hope they provide their good programming skill to AAA UI team.
Let AAA UI team supervise and decide what to include or not and HSFX team refine them.
Just my 2 cents.

HSFX still is such a beautiflu work, it deserves standing ovation for their passion and skill.

The Mod sounds good to me, before dl the whole pack i want to know if the advanced engine management is optional to activate or not - i don´t want ot warm up the engine every time for minutes, when doing a "quick fight".
