Hello,
I thank you very much for all the work and dedication on this project. I am also greedy enough to take the "freebies" you offer. The new YAP "splash" screens are very attractive and an an individual stamp to the work. In YAP, I can obtain a cockpit setting without trouble with the AH-1, finding myself flying with a companion in a cloudy sky over the highlands....

I did take your advice to try in placing the AH-1 file into the Objects/Aircraft folder and the Weapons data into the Objects/Weapons folder of Wings Over Europe (not the StrikeFighter2 edition). I took time, as ususal to complete the loading. Once completed, though, I was returned to desktop.

I tried other "stock" aircraft for a single and instant action flight. They launched properly. My attack heliocopter went into the vapors, however.

What am I missing? I copied the same install procedures as with YAP. I looked to WOE2, but could not find an Objects folder that permitted additions and used the first generation of WOE as the friendly target.

Please help me get to the Fulda Gap.

I put the AH-1F into WOE (latest patch) on my Vista64 and it didn't crash.
Doesn't help you any, but it is possible.

If it is any assistance to the direction of this thread, my WOE is patched through Oct2008 and includes the Bluetooth(?) patch as well.

Stock planes still fly. The attack heliocopter lands on the desktop

Well, on DAY2, I verified that my game setup is in cockpit, in the air near target. I then randomly selected a F15, Mig29, Corsair (Late) and an A10 set to the same Single Mission scenario profile as the AH. They arrived. The AH-1 ended at desktop yet again.

Thinking to out smart the program, I then varied from Tactical support in Germany in 1990 to Reconaissance, to Air Suppression. All ended in desktop. No VISTA, just solid XP rebuilt five months ago. WOE is patched through Oct2008, with the subsequent BlueTooth patch.

JUST THE SAME, I THANK ZEROCINCO FOR THE GIFT. The aircraft addition works were it should in YAP. It just does not get me to the Fulda Gap. If there are any ideas as to what can be leading to this frustration and how to repair them, I would appreciate learning.
