Great shots. That White Knight II is one incredible looking engineering achievement. I mean..it really does look like it should snap in the middle. And are both "booms" crewed by pilots flying or is only one side crewed and the other with pax? Gotta look up some info on that..

Beach, I don't know how they work it on actual launch flights, but they said during the show that only the right boom was crewed.

If I remember correctly, one boom is used as the active "flying" control, whereas the other boom is used to train/familiarise another crew. Don't know which is which though.

Great shooting though! thumbsup
(Could use some aircraft up here, as well as some decent weather before the lights go out...)

Great shots! I took advantage of my wife being employed there and went for the "employees and guests" day on Friday. They have a dress rehersal of the show . . . and the static aircraft are all much less formal. And of course the BONUS of hardly any crowds.

Its been too long since Edwards has had a show!
