Then after that I would recommend:
Manfrotto 322RC2 Horizontal Grip Action Ball Head with RC2 Rapid Connect Plate (3157N) $129.90
Manfrotto 055XPROB Pro Tripod Legs (Black) $179.90
Canon RS-80N3 Remote Switch for EOS-1V/1VHS, EOS-3, EOS-D2000, D30, D60, 1D, 1Ds, EOS-1D Mark II,III, EOS-1Ds Mark II,III, EOS-10D, 20D, 30D,40D, 50D, 5D $49.97
Canon 6255A003 Neck Straps for Eos Rebel Series - Pro Neck Strap $29.63
Canon Speedlite 580EX II Flash for Canon EOS Digital SLR Cameras $422.58
WITH
Gary Fong LS2P4 Lightsphere II Size 4 (Clear) $39.95
...
Then at some point I recommend a nice bag for your toys and more batteries/flash cards.
These things should give you a pretty nice setup for buildings, walk around, and for low-light shooting.

Congrats! I'm sure you'll have fun with it. That 28-125mm lens looks it will cover a pretty good range, so you might not need another lens right away. But at some point, you'll feel the irresistible call of new glass...

It's fun, buying new stuff and seeing what you can do with it. But in reality, I haven't bought any real camera equipment in over a year (aside from memory cards).
My focus (no pun intended) has always been aircraft photography, so even though I have purchased a lot of equipment, many of the items were stepping stones - mistakes, in some cases - until I got the setup I wanted. I just kept them because they can be a pain to sell and do come in useful some times.
I bought a 20D and it came with the 18-55 EFS lens, and you can't hardly give that away, let alone sell it. Plus, it's a nice, cheap lens for shooting work gatherings and stuff, where image quality is not that important.
After that I tried to get a cheap air show lens, and bought a Tamron 28-300 lens. After a few shows, I wasn't thrilled with the results, so I saved up and bought a Canon 28-300 IS lens, and after a few shows wasn't happy with its reach.
I finally got smart and did some research for the next one, and bought the Canon 100-400, and that's what I'm using to this day. I'd say it's on my 1D camera 99% of the time for what I do.
The only other lens I've bought is the Canon 50mm 1.8, which has to be the best lens deal out there, at under $100. I use it for those rare occasions when I'm shooting portraits, and it's great - very sharp, great DoF control, and small enough to easily carry around.

Gary Fong LS2P4 Lightsphere II Size 4 (Clear) $39.95 ditch that, its the worst purchase i ever made.. used it a hand full of times, it now sits in the corner of my office collecting dust.. learn to control light instead.. Pepper, congrats on the purchase of ur 7D, that should last you a good few years now its time to start saving for the expensive glass to take advantage of that nice body i have to concur Kens statement about the 50 1.8 it's a great little lens, and if you do get one, you'll need some practice shooting it in low light or @ f/1.8. you'll get a lot of bad shots to begin with.. oh, and turn the dial to M and leave it there
