That sucks, dude. Send it and you will hopefully have it before MW2 comes out.

Yeah, I'm glad I got my other one fixed. I like having a spare one.

I have two now after my last RROD. I cant remember if it is Leemz or I that have the SHQ record for most 360 failures....Either way a spare is the way to go!

Oh, it's definitely not me. Didn't +G have something like six failures? I've only had two. One RRoD and one System E-74 error. Luckily, both were under warranty.

Well... the new black one looks good in my entertainment center. I wanted a bigger HDD anyway.

I was out of warranty.

I think bisher has had the most hasn't he? I've had one and don't want another. If the replacement craps out I hope it does it within my remaining warranty time.

YIPPEEE!!!!!!!
I just got my first RROD. Now I feel like I'm part of the cool crowd. Damnit, right before MW2 comes out.....Damnit. It's going back to M$ for the fix. It's the 3 red ring variety so they say it's under warranty.

I got mine back pretty fast when it happened and was under warranty.

Get this, I buy the elite to replace my dead 360 and the Blu Ray drive on my PS3 stops reading discs and it's also out of warranty. Cuss

I had the thing under the best buy agreement. It expired two weeks ago. Figures. I got the three lights, which I guess is under the 3 year warranty thing, so that is good. I don't know how much it costs to fix one, but I've got enough of a back ground I could do it myself.

Welcome to the club. At least it's covered under the warranty.

Jeevz! What's up with that? I thought the PS3 never had any hardware issues (at least according to Spidey). And it's out of warranty? How long does the warranty last?

1 year. PS3's have the yellow light of death as well, it isn't as common as the 360 but it happens. I think I can open it up and fix it, can't hurt to try at this point.

I had 2 RRoD's, but that was within 6 mos of getting the 360. It's been nearly a year and a half now with no further issues (knock on wood). However, I'm not convinced I'm out of the woods yet.

If I do end up with another RRoD, do the llamma fixes work? Anyone tried them?
