After reading some articles on the Mighty 8th, I found my old disk (sans docs) and fired up the game, patched it to version 2.0 and ran it in XP under the Win95 comparability mode. Everything so far seems fine but I do have some questions.

1. I am using CH joysticks, throttle and rudder pedals. Does the game recognize 3 controllers or do I have to combine them into one virtual controller using CH manager? It appears that the game has determined that my joystick is controller number 3.

2. The game seems to run a little fast. I have a Pentium 4 running at 3.6. Should I consider using something to slow the game down like Winthrottle?

3. Are there any little tricks to getting the game to run that I need to know?

4. Does anyone have a CH map and related cmc and cms files for this game?

Thanks
Stanley

Man I tried playing this thing a couple of years ago. Could not get the game to recognise my CH stuff at all. Think I managed to get the plane rolling but then couldn't control yaw and so couldn't taxi. eventually gave up.

Hi sobe,
I'm running the game in Vista 64 HP (no capatibility modes) and am not experiancing any problems with game speed. Untill recently I was using a Saitek X-45 and everthing worked (stick/throttle/rudder), did you try the calibration/key assignment menu in the game settings? Also you could try the CH Hanger, it's a forum where you might get so help.
Cheers.
