As posted over on the ED forums - the " HOTAS Warthog" coming soon. http://www.thrustmaster.com/No details whatsoever yet, let the speculation begin! Hall sensors, dual throttle, same F-16 stick?

I've been away on holiday and can't find this thread. Anyone know why it's inaccessible? Cheers Nutty

I posted in that thread that it seemed that with TM pulling the advertisement off their webpage that the product may be disappearing or not going to be released for a long time yet. There were several of us looking for information on the internal gimbals in order to help make a decision about what our options are down the road.
However just going to the TM site and seeing some teasing advertisement it appears they are using the same handle as the Cougar but it does have a completely different looking base....maybe an option for us Cougar users to just buy the base....who knows.

From what I have seen, it looks great James. Dual throttle, heavy, all-metal contruction... What's not to like? I just hope that the gimbal quality is better than the Cougar's. And hall sensors would be a nice wish! LOL -Skater

In looking at an actual A10C cockpit picture, I see the stick is more like the F16 than the older A10 stick. I see the TM copy with throttle weighs over 12 pounds. Its said to be solid metal like the Cougar. But, the Cougar doesn't weigh near that much (hmmm, I never weighed mine -- so maybe). So, they stuck some lead in it? Or, maybe they cast it thick. That weight should keep it more stable on the desk -- or wherever. I presume Nutty87th has an inside track and is already writing a GUI for programming. But, hey, I could be wrong If they do a great job, I may have to buy another HOTAS "Please don't throw me in the brier patch"

That T-Master looks like cheap plastic junk. I don't know what picture you are looking at, but I doubt that even the buttons will be made out of plastic. The TM A10 is all metal, and weighs more than 6 Kilos (more than 13 pounds). -Skater

Nutty Come on James....I know you are NDA bound but let these guys who did it to ya know that a community of TM gear heads needs some information so we can do one of two things...prepare for the future HOTAS financially or prepare to make the Cougar last forever...

Thread deleted? Whats the meaning of that? The thread is there and the link works properly for me if I click on it. You can also go to the Pit Builders forum and click to the thread directly. Maybe there was a problem with it a few days ago? Anyone else experiencing weirdness now?
