Hi
I just downloaded the Cl-604 by JP Brisard.
I think it's the only model about a challenger for FSX.

The prob is that, in real life, I'm a Fligh dispatcher for cl-601, 604 and others private jet, but the one in game doesnt even reach the 601 real-life perf.

I tweaked things like the fuel. I put the real numbers in the mains and central tanks.

Now I would need help with speed and altitude. It can't even reach higher than Mach.76. The 601's cruise speed is .80 and 604 .81-.82. Same thing with the alt.... This one take ages to reach FL370, but real one cruise at 380-390 (and can sometimes reach 400).
Also, it's not normal that it take off at 160 IAS............. geez, I was almos out of runway on a 9000'one.

I hope someone can help

Start by editing/testing these three parameters:

[flight_tuning]
cruise_lift_scalar=0.915
parasite_drag_scalar=1.00
induced_drag_scalar=1.00

One at a time, try halving the values, then doubling them. One or a combination of these should do it usually.

Also, confirm w real pilots of this a/c type what cargo/pax load with what fuel load will give the desired performance numbers, as payload weight and fuel weight have huge effects on performance.

Edit:
for takeoff speed, try using a little flaps and some trim. If that's still not doing it look to wing area, span and efficiency. If still not doing it, examine the location of the tail elevator in the cfg, it may be incorrect. Also be aware that takeoff speed and distance are drastically affected at mx takeoff weight.

I'll try this tonight!

I'm always doing Medevac in the Province of Qc, so for the payload and fuel I always have the half of what it can take at max TO, so weight is not a problem. For thake off I tried all flaps setting, with trim in all way possible, but I can't get it off before MINIMUM 120kt... wich is way more than the real. In real life, we are operating on runways that have more than 4000', cause it's sure that we are landing if the runway is dry or a little wet. Usually, with 9800lbs of fuel, it takes 3300ft for take off.... but I can't under 7000-8000 ft.......

The reason i said double is that is the maximum value the sim accepts. A compromise may need to be reached that gives you the performance but still gives realistic drag feel.

A few other values to try are the turbine inlet area size, the fuselage crossection area (drag).

Again, for the problems you describe, try all my solutions in that order.

sry if it took so long to get an answer...
ok so I changed parasite_drag_scalar=1.00 AND induced_drag_scalar=1.00 to 0.50 both, and it seems to work. Can climb to over Fl400 and over mach .87 wich in both case are to much, so I'll fine tune between 0.50 and 1.00.

I'll tried this afternoon to change settings for the Take off speeds..... still takes 160kt with hafl flaps, half MTOW and full yoke to see it leave the runway.....

Try editing the "Flaps 0" and 1 sections, specifically under "lift_scalar= 0.399", and perhaps try settings of maybe 0.500, or 0.700, if that doesnt work, try 0.200...
