A long, long time ago when I was a student with a job, I found that every month I had a little money left over. Instead of spending it all on booze and condoms I bought technical manuals, nitpicking guides, photo books, (auto)biographies of the main cast, calendars (the "Ships of the Line"-calendar, can't remember which year, was gorgeous!) - even the entire Star Wreck parody. mostly from Star Trek, but also others - Star Wars, Aliens and even Lost in Space... you name it. I have two 'complete' Star Trek encyclopedia - the newest just mentioned the newly started Voyager show.

Even though I wouldn't want to buy those books now anymore, I wonder... do new versions still come out every now and then?
