Hello

I have tryed to install and play this sim 10 times.I have read all the forums and installed the patches in cfs3 and off,in short I have tryed every thing I can think of and all I recive is messages of error AT EVERY TURN.
I would say no one shoud buy this sim until there is a fix where you can run sim install,and KNOW the sim will work with all the error flags and just enjoy the sim.

This is ridiculous. So, because 1 out of 100 buyers like you encounters a problem, no one should buy OFF? How dumb is that? Methinks there is something wrong with your PC. There is nothing wrong with OFF. It is the easiest game to install I've ever seen. All you have to do is insert the DVD.

There are plenty of people on here who could help you I am sure,including members directly involved with OFF.

I would start by trying it on another PC to make sure the disc is OK.As Plainsman said,the install is very easy.No problem with 64 bit O/S either.

Did you try to contact the Devs about your problems? They are pretty responsive and will try to help you but you got to ask for help, they are probably not checking every post that a customer is having problems with OFF

P.S. You are refering to OFF 3 Between Heaven and Hell correct?

Sweet William. The "devs" are the developers of the sim/game. The guys that made the game will help you if you email them directly. With this link you will find much information and at the bottom you will see the email link. Please do yourself a favor and don't give up just yet. Tell the dev's you system specifications and the error message you see. The more you can tell them the sooner they might be able to get things sorted for you or tell you that your machine will not currently run the game. Yes being a PC game,from time to time people have trouble. Given there are literally a billion combinations of OS/Hardware/drivers/settings etc. The VAST majority are up and running smoothly quickly.

There is nothing wrong with the installer, as 1000's have installed it fine.

If you try all the troubleshooting tips and still have a problem send a support email (see our website FAQ where you bought it from). Send a mail with all your system details, and exact error with your order number and we'll try to help.

You need to be specific in what the error is, and what you do to get there before anyone can help - we are not sitting at your PC. If you have on error on install, do not then note the 10 errors you may get because of that. It's the first error that is the important one.

Listen,try installing OFF on another(friend's?)pc,if that works you'll know your pc is the problem and not OFF...

Bill, ease up. Be specific about the machine you are using and the problems you encounter. Certainly contact the OFF team, but again be specific. I know they'll be glad to help.

I doubt he will post back.. he's done this many times before in different forums.

Might be a flawed DVD then?
He should make use of the return policy.....

I'm sure he would have no trouble getting a replacement DVD, I just doubt it is the DVD though.

Me too,but you never know,that's why he should try installing it on another pc.......
