hi all,

I didn't see this when i searched so here goes.

When i tried installing the demo i got:
Rof_updater.exe

This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.


no biggie - i figured i'd buy it anyway with some Amazon gift cards, so i did and installed.
Low and behold:
Rof_updater.exe

Any suggestions?

Make sure to install all of the M$ apps that you are prompted for during the second half of installation, even if you think you have them already installed. i.e. Direct X etc.

I'm a bit befuddled though - why do i have to install crap i already have/don't want to get this thing going?
