Definitely......I have been using an X52 Pro and Saitek pedals which were OK but the stick deflection is way too light.

I've just sold them on ebay and am going to plump for the new Logitech G940

I use X52 Pro and am very happy. I'd be probably happier with a force feedback stick for BS though. But I just bougth the X52 a few months ago so I can't justify the G940 frown

I'm using a regular X52. I can say pretty much what others have said, no force feedback and the stick is rather light. No big deal, the X52 (regular or pro) is still a killer stick for the price and the light touch is no problem once you're used to it.

If I had to choose over again I'd still get the X52 over the G940 due to price. If they were the same price the G940 would be looking a little better.

EDIT: actually after reading a handful of bad reviews I'd go with the X52 even at the same price! Hopefully what I read on amazon wasn't representative of everyone, but both folks who reviewed the full logitech set there had it back in the box ready to return in hours.

One thing about the X-52 or any twist grip is that twisting and trying to use buttons on the stick at the same time takes a little away from accuracy. So I would recommend getting some pedals (which I will soon), especially if you eventually plan to fly a chopper with tail rotor like the upcoming Apache.

Stick with the Cougar, since you have it. I'm using a Cougar with CH pedals and it's working fine.
