Hi, I hada CTD the other night while Flying a Campaign in the 14th mission. The last target to bomb was a Fuel storage tank the main target was a Power station. Upon it blowing up as I was Watching from within the cockpit I got a CTD. Now if I do NOT watch I do not get a CTD but what fun is NOT watching the impact

I had took a screenshot of the CTD error after wards and I tried running that CTD Program but that screwed up my install as when I pressed F5 to run F18 it installed the 1.01 patch??

I have uninstalled F18 and reinstalled and Now I do NOT get the error I tried running the Training Mission Dumb Bomb some 20 miles from target there are some fuel tanks.. Now Prior to uninstalling I was getting the CTD but after I do NOT..

Also I have tried setting the Volumetric Explosions Off/On that did NOT make a difference?? what could cause this CTD After Bombing a fuel Tank.

Yes. For awhile turning off Volumetric Explosions was thought to be the fix, but it was actually a bug where NOTHING was selected for EXPLOSIONS DETAIL itself. Setting the box to LOW MEDIUM HIGH etc.. fixed it.

Thanks for the heads up about the error-tracking program. Perhaps there is some compatibility issue between that and TSH v4.02.

I did reinstall the error-tracking program and it worked as it should have??? wierd..

Hmmm... that's odd, but ultimately good news.

Hi Guys after some more testing I am still experiencing the CTD Upon blowing up Fuel Tanks with a MK84 bomb. here is a screenshot of my settings are they OK:

Any reason you don't have all of your settings maxed out?

Well I dont have explosion detail, ground smoke on high as I was experimenting with lower settings to not get the CTD.. as for the others they where reccomended

well today I tried getting this CTD with the Read Table program but it did not CTD??? I did however get a majpr pause after the bomb hit and it exploded during the explosion was the pause but NO CTD??

I am also getting a wierd CTD I get when in F6 View and press Map??
