Actually, I was behind the tower on the river bank for two days during MAKS (click for location).

One day, which was the friday before MAKS, we lived through the Russian Knights crash where Igor Tkachenko, Russian Knights leader for over 10 years, died. It was a very strange and tragic accident. See pictures from here.
This and this is what we think happened......

Besides the tragic accident, I had an amazing time on MAKS and in Moscow. Have met all my virtual aerobatic squadron team members and ofcourse, drank a lot of Vodka biggrin
