Interesting palette, DKD. Looks like DID was using this for the basis of less-than-ideal weather. The colors remind me of light overcast, and is definitely a great palette for D3D.
The beauty of 2.0 is that skies notwithstanding, I only modified parts of two of the rows (the lighter shades of sand, and the water row). This means that converting an original palette to the 2.0 color scheme is fairly easy to do.
As far as weather goes, I'm kind of stuck with trying to get the EF2000 clouds to work in TAW. Problem is that the clouds themselves use different spots in the palettes, and there is no thickness/transparency in the EF2000 clouds like there is in TAW. I'm sure I'll figure something out; it only took me 4 months or so to figure out how to get Polak's textures to work in 2.0.
Once I figure out the clouds, I'll definitely add this palette to the mix. In the meantime, I'll put together a classic graphics mod for separate download (this will not be part of the default install).

These feelings just don't involve anyone else.
