It would appear Akella has not stopped work on the PT-Boats series and is in the process of creating a Mediterranean expansion called "South Gambit" for PT-Boats.

The developers have,based upon user feedback been working to improve, in particular, the simulation part of the game. Repair and sinking times have been made more realistic and judging by the screenshots & video below the arcade-like HUD may have disappeared.

This does NOT appear to be a South Pacific expansion. Pity.

Wow, is it too much to ask that I could buy the game that they have released before they start pitching a sequel??

It's not so much a sequel as an addon, who knows it may even be incorporated into the US/UK release of PT-Boats (if that ever happens).

Black Sea also, I assume. I love the Russian boat with the T-34 turrets.

The Med would be awesome, tons of cool stuff to do in that theater, plus the Black Sea stuff.

It would seem that Battlefront is to be the 'official' distributor .....

Remember the game's been out in Russia quite some time in Russia, so it's not really surprising.
