Happens to me too, but only during the evening hours. If I get online in the middle of the night when only one or two other people are flying online, then I have no trouble at all.

About midnight central time (05:00 Zulu) it works fine for me.

I thought this last patch had fixed it, but I think I just got lucky for a few games.

Sucked then, sucks now and most likely will suck in next patch. I keep getting the "Lost connection with Master server" msg. I can goto DSL reports and do speed tests for data transfer and packet loss plus more and every time I test my connection there the results are good. Nor have I yet found/seen any info from Neoqb of what might be the cause. It would be nice if this can be corrected. If it is on my part then it would be nice to know what to look for since everthing on my connection end passes all tests.

Actual data bytes sent: 1024001
Actual data packets: 703
Max packet sent (MTU): 1500
Max packet recd (MTU): 1500
Retransmitted packets: 0
sacks you sent: 0
pushed data pkts: 101
data transmit time: 3.344 secs
our max idletime: 373.7 ms
transfer rate: 265338 bytes/sec
transfer rate: 2122 kbits/sec
transfer efficiency: 100%

Hey Blue, earlier when I was on those disconnects were few but as the evening came (I'm on Pacific Standard Time) they became more frequint. This tells me that maybe their master server cannot or their provider cannot handle the traffic. Unfortunatly if the MP continues this way I'll be history (not that it makes any differance).

Well, It is finally un-sucking thanks to the suggestion from Hellbender. I was using a usb wireless adaptor to connect to my router. Once I disabled the "wireless zero configuration" in services and connected up with a net cable I can now join in on MP with out any disconnects. For once since this sim has been out I'm finally enjoying the MP part (They still need the DF server and preferably a MMO). So, if any of you are connecting to your router via wireless try the good ole CAT5 way and see if this helps.

Oddly enough, my simpit is connected wirelessly and has no issues with connections, but my desktop, which is connected via a cat5 cable, does have connection problems. There might be more involved at the configuration level than at the intranet level.
