Hey all - I'm having a lot of trouble running ROF - I'm pretty sure It's videocard related, but I'm a long ways from any expertise in this. My basic specs are an Intel I7-950, 3MG's of RAM, an NVIDIA/EVGA GTX 295, Windows XP sp3. What happens most often is shortly after the start of a mission textures go bad, menus become unreadable, Icon lables go bad, map etc. Game sometimes completely locks up. My card reads as two GPU's in device manager which someone said is normal for a GTX 295. I also have a program called EVGA Precision - I can turn up fan speed (GPU 2?) and there are sliders for core clock, shader clock, memory clock - I have no idea what these should be set at. There seems to be nothing that shows the cards temperature, so if my problem is the card overheating I can't tell. I'm using the latest drivers, and it runs IL2 at maximum setting for hours with no problem (I realise that's a much older engine). Anyway ... any ideas?

gn728, in your SLI settings try disabling SLI, that seems to of cleared up serveral individuals graphics problems for those with dual cards and with out.
Also, if you haven't yet you can install "Enhanced SLI" from NVidia or EVGA. I would 1st try it with SLI disabled.

Do you mean in the NVIDIA control panel "Do not use multi-GPU mode"

Check this thread out over at the ROF forum. JohnBanks has the same card as you do and corrected it by disabling SLI, now I don't know if he was meaning "multi-GPU mode" or not but but most likely yes.
