I noticed he modified my tornado model and made an F.3. I can't say I'm very happy about the fact that neither my name, nor sundowner's name appear anywhere in any of the credits. However I do want a copy of my model back, so if anyone has it please let me know.

I just checked the GR/IDS models and compared them to the F3 model. The mappings don't match by any degree.

The OUT files are also very different in terms of bmps, hierarchies, etc.

Can you be specific as to what you see that makes you believe the F3 model is derived from your work?

Actually you're wrong there. The mappings for most parts are identical, take a look at for example the airbrake and you'll see it's the same shape/angle/size. However they've been moved onto 3 new sheets with a different arrangement is all.

Anyway I'm really not that bothered about permissions, I just want a copy of my original model back from Bobrock or anyone else that has it, because I no longer have a copy.

Hello AD, sorry to disappoint you, but the F.3 model is 100% original in any of its parts, airbrakes, wings, fuselage... whatever.
I think I know for sure because I did the model from scratch, as I ALWAYS do(the different screenname on this board is actually a bit misleading, but you can get in touch with me on CAce forums if you like).

The fact that many parts "look" the same it's because, well, they ARE the same on the real plane, why should I have made them different?

I don't have your original GR/IDS model, best of luck finding it

I don't have any of them AD but, if your reason to believe you've been copied is something like "the angle of the airbrake", it's pretty weak. If the two modelled aircraft share the same part, they should have the part modeled identically. Where you may see the difference (and even then, not always) is in the form of the polys composing it, which can by in various shapes, and, again, not necessarily very different if it's some relatively simple part... )

Nobody said anything about angles. It's got nothing to do with angles.
