Thanks Coutie,

I actually did some more testing last night, and did reverse it, and FF was really good then, but there was still one problem.

When driving straight, not turning at all, the wheel 'wobbled' back and forth, sortof an oscillation. Is anyone else seeing this? I have a Logitech MOMO (black) wheel. I played around with some of the settings (like smoothing) in the .ini, with no luck.

After reversing the FF I really like how it feels, and would love to drive with it, but the oscillating while going straight is pretty unbearable.

Cheers!

That does seem like a reversed FF setting in rF. MojoFlow, you want to make sure that it is a negative value. Different mods require different FFB effect settings. For instance I use Low for the CSGT endurance mod, but High for the Clio Cup mod. YMMV.

Did some more testing last night. I am using a negative value, and it definitely needs that setting, a positive value gives completely strange FF effects. I changed all the FF settings from Low to High, and Full, with no change. There was also a suggestion to use a higher max force setting, so I did that with no change, still wobbles badly. It is strange because this mod says right in the readme that it works with RealFeal.

Is this working properly for anyone, and if so, could you post the .ini section for this car?

Cheers!

You could try to look for this line in the controller ini
FFB steer force exponent="0.80000" // Steering force output "sensitivity". Range 0.0 to infinity. 0.0 to 1.0 = higher sensitivity, greater than 1.0 = lower sensitivity. and increase the value to 0.99. It will make the seering in the center a bit more weak.
Then there´s this line FFB steer force neutral range="0.04500" // Max distance from center "neutral force" location where forces are reduced to help avoid oscillation (0.0 to disable)
0.4500 is the default value, perhapøs increase that one aswell if the first one doesn´t work

Thanks LazyCrust,

I tried out those settings, and it didn't change anything. I also changed the 'steering damper' (i think?) setting in the realfeel.ini section for the car.

One thing, for the people that realfeel is working for, what is the section called for the car in your .ini file? Mine is 'Bonus Caspraso' (or something like that), as best as I can tell. I guess it would depend on which of the cars in the mod (year and country) that I am driving ??

Anyway, I am going to test some more.

Hopefully see you guys online Wednesday, today got hectic for me and couldn't make the race unfortunately.

Cheers!

Fun races tonight, I like this car, it seems to be a good one for beginners, hopefully the veterans enjoy it as well.

Here are the race results for tonight:

Race 1

Race 2

Race 3

The replay files are included on the results page. If you have a chance check out the last couple of laps of 'Race 2', nice battle between Coutie and DC.

that was fun, I just d/l that mod just before I logged in.

used the 1st race to get familiar with the car. it was really loose early but after about 5 laps I settled in.
race 2 starting @ the back I managed to work my up and managed to catch and pass alex on final lap.

I won't be able to make next week as I'm on a business trip wed-Fri.

I think if I had a little more traction coming out of the last corner it would have been very close. But good racing in these cars, last week I raced door to door with Birdski the whole race.

Wait'll you all see next weeks track. It's one of those love it or hate it layouts. Seems to fit the Clios well from what I can tell.
