Ok, since the Steelers and Titans have played everyone starts out with one win.

Here are the games and my predictions. I will try to keep up each week and will tabulate the ongoing scores.

Couple of rules: With the exception of today all predictions must be in place two hours before the kickoff of the first game. Late entries will not be counted. Maybe if I can get some support we can possibly get some kind of cool prize out of Doug for the winner. No promises but we will see what happens.

OK, WEEK ONE GAMES (my predictions)

Tennesee Titans @ Pittsburg Steelers Pittsburg

Dallas Cowboys @ Tampa Bay Buccaniers Dallas

Denver Broncos @ Cincinnati Bengals Broncos

Detroit Lions @ New Orleans Saints Saints

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Indianapolis Colts Colts

Kansas City Chiefs @ Baltimore Ravens Ravens

Miami Dolphins @ Atlanta Falcons Dolphins

Minnesota Vikings @ Cleveland Browns Vikings

New York Jets @ Houston Texans Texans

Philadelphia Eagles @ Carolina Panthers Panthers

San Francisco 49ers @ Arizona Cardinals 49ers

St. Louis Rams @ Seattle Seahawks SeaHawks

Washington Redskins @ New York Giants Redskins

Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers Bears

Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots Patriots

San Diego Chargers @ Oakland Raiders Chargers

Lets see what happens.

There are quite a few dysfunctional teams this year. Althought I picked Arizona over San Fran, I think San Fran is going to be the most improved team this year. Another team I feel that will make some really good strides is KC. I really like Todd Haley as a Head Coach. He is one of those no nonsense guys who doesn't have a problem telling any player what he things, no matter the players status. I have seen him put big name players in their place as a Coordinator. People are expecting a lot from Chicago because of the new QB, but I just don't see it. I think they are going to be one of the let down teams. Another team I think that is over rated is Philly. Lots of injuries on the O Line right now and while I think McNabb is a great QB, he lets the little crap get to him mentally and Vick will end up hurting him in this regard in the long run.

That's fine. We may just make this week a gimme. Last year someone else came up with it and I noticed last night that no one did it this year.

Lets start next week.

Yeah, I'll play next week too. Maybe guod's fancy website has a "form" we could mod to fill out with our weekly picks.

ps Tom, checked your picks and since you picked the phins to win you obviously know nothing about football....

I went 8-5 so far, so it's not to bad. Denver beat Cinncinnati on a fluke play, but a loss is still a loss. I should have gone with my gut on the San Fran game. Their defense really impressed me yesterday. Like I said in my original post, San Fran is going to be the most improved team this year and I do think they will win their division. Singletary is a good head coach and will be able to get his team to play above their heads.

I had a feeling that Cutler is going to sink like a rock. He's probably the most overrated QB out there right now. After seeing the highlights of the Carolina game, I am going to add them to my list of dysfuntional teams. The teams I think that are dysfunctional this year are....

Carolina
Oakland (surprise)
Denver
Cleveland
Cinncinnati
Buffalo
Washington (even though I am a Skins fan)

Deceptis, FYI looks like we might not be counting this week since it was posted on such short notice. Thats if I understand Tom anyways.

It won't count this week since it was short notice. I will keep track for those of us that did play but it won't count for anything else.
