was wondering...if anyone knew/knows... Paradox Interactive has released some of their titles on STEAM, like Hearts of Iron III... you think or know if maybe this will come to Steam?
(I'm a big fan of Steam digital releases.)
Yeah I just make a habit never to buy Paradox DEVELOPED games off Steam, because they usually require constant beta patches etc, Steam sadly doesn't let the user control what version of a game they wanna install. By the way, if you didn't know, Paradox has their own digital delivery system these days called Gamer's Gate which I highly recommend checking out because often(in my region anyway) they charge lower prices at GG than they do on Steam, apparently something to do with the 'license' fees or whatever they have to pay to have Steam host their games.
I might get Kharkov '43 off Steam myself if they don't overcharge us Europeans again(recently for some reason generally the Steam price for new games have actually been ABOVE the retail RRP, which IMO is weird since I think digital distribution should LOWER production costs of game and lower the price.:p)
Anyway, glad to hear this game's getting a Steam release, though I'm not surprised, iirc Paradox's newest policy is to publish all their main games(the ones that have a main section on the Paradox's forum) on Steam, and I'm glad Kharkov '43's going on there, because it will once again mean an even wider audience will hear of the game.
I can also say that a Paradox rep at the official forums stated that there's still plans for an English demo, and they're hoping it will be out before release of the full game.
