So apparently I can't access Bombs Away! any longer (I thought I had signed up years ago, but apparently not), so I thought I'd try to put out my request here.

My fiancee's grandfather was a ball turret gunner with the 301st BG, 353rd Squadron. I was wondering if any of the old artists who have created some of the beautiful skins available would be interested in helping me out?

And yes, I know that the 301st BG flew mostly over Italy and North Africa, but I just wanted to do this as a tribute to my fiancee's family.

Foggia Italy ..1943 B17G I quess the Colors would be olive drab leaning more toward sand color. , tail markings are a white "Y" for 301BG, or sometimes reversed colors a dark Y on white square , Below the Y is the number white 4. for the 353. white or green rudder tail?
What colors does he remember? There were some variations in the field.

Keep in mind that B172 has a limitation in that the tail does not mirror i.e. numbers will appear reversed on the other side.
