My initial reaction to unlimited ammo was 'yuck', until I remember my bro and I would sometimes fly cooperativley with unlimited ammo, I suppose my complaint would be that there is no user choice. Do the aircraft fly differently after their ordinance has been loosed?

In terms of the limited buttons; I would be okay with some sort of overlay type system as in FSX. Certain functions could be carried out without loosing any immersion, such as a fly mode where you have a choice between navigation, combat, and ILS wink modes. I'd be okay with some of the flight control surfaces being handled this way such as flaps, gears, trim, radiator setting, etc.

I've only flown the demo of BOP, and I was relieved with what I experienced, there was a nice atmosphere with a lot of depth in terms of how the aircraft handled and the general feeling of flight vs the environment. I was thrilled to fly NOE with all the trees and local elevation changes.

Though it sounds like the gameplay gets in the way of enjoying the flight simulation aspect of this game. The first mission of the demo was a bit hectic but not too bad, for me eventually the funnest thing to do was break away from the battle and explore the country side. smile
